Our good friend and contributor, Mike Salter recaps his Northeast hunt camp experience and tells us what “camp” means. Having had to miss out on it through parts of covid, he explains the importance it has had on his family heritage, and what putting a buck on the wall after a 40 year camp drought meant.
Were extremely proud of the efforts Mike has put towards continuing the family tradition and sharing the experience with so many others in his life. This truly puts the focus of hunting season back on the stories that revolve around hunting deer, as opposed to the harvest itself.
